Job summary

MV Transportation, Inc. is hiring experienced mechanics in your area. As a Mechanic, you will perform preventative maintenance, diagnosis, service and repair of steering, brakes, engines, and electrical systems for passenger vehicles.

You will also participate in inventory control and ensure a safe, organized shop environment. The role offers 40 hours per week with OT as needed, competitive pay, full benefits including medical, vision, dental, 401K, paid vacation, and a company-provided uniform.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years of apprentice level training/experience in automotive or diesel mechanics.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and random testing.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service and repair steering, suspension, brakes, engines and electrical systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service on vehicles.
• Document activities in MV Fleet Management System and maintain a safe work area.
