Job Description:

Seeking a reliable Automotive Technician to join our fleet maintenance team. The Automotive Technician will be responsible for maintaining a diverse range of equipment, including delivery vehicles, heavy-duty on-road tractors, and trailers from various manufacturers. These vehicles' propulsion systems include diesel and gasoline. Automotive Technicians must be skilled in troubleshooting and maintaining systems such as hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electrical systems, and engine controls.

Automotive Technicians should be willing to work 2nd or 3rd shifts, including schedules from Monday through Friday, Sunday through Thursday, or Tuesday through Saturday, depending on location needs. They must possess the required hand tools for the job.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  1. Meet D.O.T requirements as per job assignment.
  2. Perform physical activities such as bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing ladders and stairs, standing, walking, and turning/pivots frequently throughout the workday.
  3. Sit infrequently, as required, during the workday.
  4. Use hand grasping, power grasping, fine manipulation, and reaching from foot level to above shoulder level to complete tasks.
  5. Operate standard and manual transmission vehicles.
  6. Use power and pneumatic tools.

Requirements:

  • Must have an active driver’s license issued by the state.
  • Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shifts, including various schedules depending on location needs.
  • Possess the required personal hand tools for the job.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Current documented automotive mechanical experience.
  • Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and computers.
  • Possess a full set of personal hand tools.
  • Dependable with regular and timely attendance.
  • Flexible to work varying shifts and overtime as needed.
  • Wears personal protective equipment as required.
  • Able to work in environments with variable temperatures, humidity, exposure to chemicals, dust, dirt, noise, and outside weather conditions.
  • Works cooperatively in a diverse environment.
  • Communicates effectively to perform tasks and maintain safety.

Our compensation starts at $38.46 per hour, with additional benefits including weekly pay, extensive training, 401(K), pension plan, medical/dental/vision coverage, paid leave, holidays, stock purchase program, and more.
