Job summary

WeDriveU in Boston is seeking a hands-on Fleet Mechanic to maintain and repair our shuttle and transit vehicles. You will work with diesel and gasoline systems, perform routine maintenance, and ensure safe, reliable operation across our fleet.

This role requires 1–3 years of repair experience, a HS diploma, and a Class III toolset. On-the-job training and opportunities for career growth are offered, with comprehensive benefits and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years truck or automotive repair experience
• Familiarity with diesel and gasoline systems preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ideally prior fleet experience

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean and safe work environment and reports unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Records time and materials used for each assignment.
• Provides automotive repair and maintenance assistance to technical staff as assigned.
• Advises Lead Technician of unsafe maintenance conditions or vehicle abuse.

Sunday - Thursday 9:00 pm - 5:30 am

Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean and safe work environment and brings any unsafe practices or conditions to the attention of supervisor.
• Records time and materials used for each assignment.
• Provides automotive repair and maintenance assistance to technical staff as assigned.
• Advises Lead Technician of unsafe maintenance conditions or practices and/or vehicle abuse.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 to 3 years truck or automotive repair experience
• Minimum recommended hand tools for Class III Mechanic
• High school graduate or equivalent education, training and experience
• Ideally have previous fleet experience and are familiar with diesel and gasoline systems
