Job summary

Lewis Energy Group is hiring a Mechanic II - Frac to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on DOT and completions equipment. You will document activities in CMMS, identify parts, troubleshoot complex issues, and inspect tools to ensure reliability.

The role supports other mechanics and emphasizes safety and efficiency. Qualifications include 3+ years in mechanical maintenance, a HS diploma or GED (tech cert preferred), and a valid driver license (DOT license preferred).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational certificate preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of mechanical maintenance/repair experience.
• Valid Driver License; DOT License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment per company standards.
• Document maintenance activities, failures, and repairs in CMMS.
• Identify, order, and replace parts and equipment as needed.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex equipment issues.
• Conduct routine tool and equipment inspections for cleanliness and functionality.
• Assist lower-level Mechanics in completing repairs and maintenance tasks.

What You’ll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on DOT and Completions Services equipment according to company standards and timelines
• Accurately document maintenance activities, failures, and repairs in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Identify, order, and replace parts and equipment as needed
• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex equipment issues
• Conduct routine tool and equipment inspections, ensuring cleanliness and functionality
• Support and assist lower-level Mechanics in completing repairs and maintenance tasks

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational certificate preferred
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of related mechanical experience in equipment maintenance and repair
• Licenses: Valid Driver License required; DOT License preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer use
• Familiarity with RTA Fleet Management Software preferred
• Language Skills: Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and solve complex problems

Your Work Schedule & Hours

• Work shifts up to 12 hours
• Overtime as needed
• 10/5 Rotation Schedule (Ten days on, 5 days off)
• Hours may vary based on operational needs
