Job summary

E-ONE, a Terex Corporation member, is a leading manufacturer of custom and commercial fire trucks and assemblies. The OCALA-based team assembles pumpers, tankers, aerials, and rescue units with focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.

As a general assembler, you will work from schedules and prints, use hand and power tools, and support LEAN initiatives to improve processes and production flow. This on-site role requires basic math, blueprint literacy, and a collaborative spirit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform basic math.
• Proactive, strong work ethic and reliability.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with digital tools.
• Commitment to E-ONE quality standards and continuous improvement.
• Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Ensure manufacturing, quality, and safety requirements are met.
• Read schedules, manuals, wiring diagrams, shop orders, and prints; learn schematics.
• Identify plumbing, electrical, and mechanical components used in assembly.
• Review shop orders and retrieve parts, materials, and supplies.
• Operate hand and power tools and participate in LEAN/continuous improvement.
• Support safety and 5-S housekeeping in the department.
