Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance preferred.
  • Proficient in using MAXIMO and other maintenance tools.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Pay:

$38.04/hour

$2,500 sign on bonus!

Paid relocation offered for this position!

Shift:

Monday - Friday.

6:45am - 3:00pm

Overtime as needed!

Complete the safety training required for Mechanic II before doing any work that requires the training.

Within the MAXIMO Asset Management Software, learn how to develop work order details, and develop new spare parts for inventory.

Adheres to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures while actively participating in the safety program.

Performs vibration analysis.

Performs infrared thermography and ultrasound analysis.

Creates job plans for lubrication, vibration analysis, infrared thermography, and ultrasound.

Sets optimum lube inventory levels and tracks usage.

Maintains proper lube storage, including 5S standard storage location.

Creates and prioritizes corrective work orders based on inspection while performing tasks.

Performs root-cause failure analysis.

Understands how to follow mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and P&ID drawings, sketches, plans, layouts, and instructions.

Develops the ability to start up and shut down production equipment.

Identify equipment parts & procure them from the store room.

Understand the manufacturing process.

Maintains good housekeeping standards in all work areas.

Participates in the development and continued improvement of production equipment, operation, process, safety, and maintenance programs.

Assists in the development of preventative and predictive maintenance procedures.

Operates Fork Trucks & Man Lifts.

Troubleshoots, installs, aligns, dismantles, repairs, and maintains industrial machinery, mechanical equipment, electrical equipment, and circuits.

Installs and aligns new equipment.

Installs and repairs mechanical drives, pumps, fans, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, belts, and couplings.

Proficient in oxyacetylene and arc welding processes.

Tests performance of repaired equipment and communicates results with operators.

Maintains and troubleshoots pneumatic systems, control devices, hydraulic equipment, circuits, and components.

Assist in repairs/replacement of instrument/electrical components and equipment.

Adjusts functional parts of the equipment and control instruments.

Performs daily preventative maintenance on the equipment, facility, infrastructure, & utilities.

Ensures equipment/plant safety devices are operational.

Maintains accurate maintenance logs including labor hours and critical preventive maintenance findings.

Uses pipefitting skills to cut, fit, maintain, and install piping throughout the facility.

Uses problem-solving methods to identify the root cause and eliminate failures.

Has a working knowledge and understanding of HAZMAT, MSDS, EPA, OSHA, NEC, and NFPA requirements.

General knowledge/skills

Competent with the use of Personal Computers, with sound understanding and utilization of Google APPS, and MAXIMO Asset Management Software.

Excellent Observational skills.

Advanced Math.

Troubleshooting skills for mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Maintenance tools used while working on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

General fabrication and welding..

Pump & fan theory, repair, & replacement.

Understanding of instrument/electrical components & how they work/communicate.

Capable of using calipers, gauges, micrometers, and related measuring equipment.

Comprehension and use of technical manuals.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Able to work under limited supervision and self-motivated.

Ability to work well with others at all levels of the organization.

Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
