Job description

AgriNorthwest� is seeking a knowledgeable and self-motivated Mechanic to upkeep machines and mechanical equipment in good working condition.

Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with management on daily assignments and priority repairs.
  • Repair and preventative maintenance on all processing equipment.
  • Become familiar with the correct operating procedures for the equipment.
  • Diagnose problems and repair equipment efficiently and effectively to reduce production downtime.
  • Perform general cleaning, painting, and structural repair and upkeep of facilities and other company property and grounds.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with co-workers, industry partners, and vendors.
  • Meet individual deadlines, while collaborating on various team tasks and supporting multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures while championing a best-in-class safety culture.
Qualifications:
  • 1-3years of relevant experience.
  • Mechanical knowledge and ability to perform repairs to troubleshoot equipment systems such as motors, gearboxes, pumps, bearing and belt replacements.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • A valid, in-state driver's license.
  • Ability to operate equipment such as electric or gas-powered forklifts.
  • Experience torching and welding.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Bilingual English and Spanish a plus.
  • Demonstrated high level of integrity, attention to detail, and work ethic.
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the role which includes heavy lifting, bending, kneeling and twisting throughout work period and manual dexterity to operate machinery and computers.
