Job summary

Qualifications

• Must read and understand technical docs, diagrams and service manuals.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced team with attention to detail.
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and troubleshoot effectively.
• Willing to work overtime as needed with little notice.
• Able to stand for long periods and work outdoors in varying weather.
• Physical activities include pulling, reaching, bending, climbing, kneeling.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain industrial mobile equipment using hand/power tools, lift trucks, and cranes.
• Move, operate, assemble, and dismantle machinery as needed.
• Troubleshoot problems and repair or replace worn parts.
• Perform preventive maintenance and address breakdowns for safety and reliability.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety regulations.
• Prepare and maintain records of services and repairs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Collaborate with accounting software support to resolve issues.

The Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial mobile equipment to support safe, reliable operations. This role involves troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, repairs, and parts replacement using hand and power tools, while maintaining accurate service records and a clean, safe work area.

Duties of the role include but are not limited to:

• Repair and maintain industrial mobile equipment using hand and power tools, lift trucks, and maintenance cranes when available.
• Move, operate, assemble, and dismantle machinery as needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and repair or replace worn or broken parts.
• Perform basic repairs and maintenance, including replacing hydraulic lines, O-rings, and filters that support engine operation.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot breakdowns to keep equipment operating safely and reliably.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and follow all safety regulations.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of services and repairs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Work directly with transaction accounting software support to resolve issues that cannot be corrected internally.

What We're Looking For:

Required:

• Ability to read and understand technical documents, diagrams, and service manuals.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot the root cause of equipment failures.
• Ability to work overtime as needed, including outside the normally scheduled shift with little or no advance notice.
• Ability to stand for extended periods in an industrial environment and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to perform physical activities including pulling, reaching, bending, climbing, and kneeling.

Preferred:

• CPAand/or Advanced Business degree
• Manufacturing experience
