Job summary

Kauai Coffee is seeking a Mechanic Helper to assist with repairs and adjustments to a range of coffee equipment under the guidance of an experienced Journeyman Mechanic. This position involves working with automotive and agricultural equipment used in coffee farm operations on the island of Hawaii.

Ideal candidates have basic repair experience, are at least 18, and hold a valid Type 3 license. Duties include using shop tools, maintaining safety standards, and performing tasks within the assigned

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a High School Diploma or its equivalent.
• Must possess a valid Type 3 driver’s license.
• Must have some experience with Automotive and heavy equipment repair.
• Must be physically and mentally capable of performing the assistance job functions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with repairs and adjustments to coffee equipment.
• Work under the supervision of a Lead journeyman Mechanic.
• Operate equipment with training in assisting loading/unloading and moving of equipment.
• Obtain materials from Parts room and equipment yard.
• Maintain shop area and tools in a clean and safe condition.
