Qualifications

• General experience in the electrical trade.
• Assist Journey Worker Electrician with repairs and calibrations.
• Read operating and service manuals and instructions to learn fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the Journey Electrician plans and lays out work from drawings, blueprints, or specifications.
• Assist with calculations and data for installation, operation and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems.
• Determine repairs and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime of systems.
• Assist with services, overhauls, troubleshooting, and maintenance of motors and transformers.
• Install motors, transformers, switchboards, panels and control equipment.
• Operate with supervision and respond to trouble calls from supervisory control system.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and communicate needed parts to supervisor.
