Job summary

Kinder Morgan is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain mechanical equipment including compressors and engines at our Utah site. You will assess equipment condition, perform heavy maintenance and overhauls, and ensure work complies with safety, regulatory, and tariff requirements.

Strong mechanical skills and ability to work 4x10 schedule plus after-hours callouts are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in mechanical maintenance of reciprocating/centrifugal compressor units.
• Experience in engine and compressor overhauls and troubleshooting natural gas driven engines.
• Ability to respond to emergency or after-hours calls.
• Valid drivers license and insurability.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance on compressors, engines, and related equipment.
• Mentor team members on operation and maintenance practices.
• Identify and report safety and environmental concerns.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely.
• Work according to company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain high attendance and safety standards.
