Job summary

Kinder Morgan is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to operate and maintain pipelines, compressors and related equipment at our facilities in Texas. The role emphasizes safety, preventive maintenance, and collaborative problem-solving with field teams.

You will inspect, repair, service and maintain valves, pumps, engines and electrical components, perform minor electrical work, document activities, and participate in safety and compliance programs to protect people and the environment.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills with knowledge of MS Office and company software.
• Basic math skills and ability to perform calculations.
• Good verbal and written communication with customers and peers.
• Fosters teamwork and collaboration on projects.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, service and maintain valves, pipe, and related equipment.
• Perform general upkeep of facilities and equipment, including sites and storage areas.
• Operate engines, pumps and associated equipment, and perform minor electrical maintenance.
• Document activities and ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements.
• Participate in safety programs and coordinate with third parties as needed.
• Assist with development of procedures and work plans; respond to callouts.
