Job summary

Hunter Super Techs - TurnPoint is seeking a motivated Landscape Equipment and Fleet Mechanic Assistant in Port Saint Lucie, FL. The role involves repairing and performing preventative maintenance on a wide range of landscape power equipment and fleet vehicles.

You will work in a shop with an inventory of parts, uphold safety standards, and contribute to a strong safety culture by using PPE and maintaining a clean workspace. Minimum 2+ years of relevant repair experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years repair experience with mowers, small engines and utility vehicles.
• Strong mechanical skill-set including basic electrical, hydraulic systems, mower tech and engines (gasoline & diesel).
• Basic automotive repair experience.
• Must have own tools.
• Must have reliable transportation to branch or site.
• Safe driving record and MVR a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and service on landscape power equipment including commercial mowers, 2 cycle equipment, utility vehicles, trailers and trucks.
• Operate in a shop with stocked spare parts and supplies.
• Maintain a safe, clean, orderly shop environment.
• Wear PPE and contribute to safety culture.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Landscape Equipment and Fleet Mechanic Assistant. The Mechanic Assistant will repair and perform preventative maintenance on all company equipment.

What would my responsibilities be?

• Perform preventative maintenance and service a wide variety of landscape power equipment. This will include commercial mowers, 2 cycle equipment, utility vehicles, trailers and trucks.
• Operate in a shop where an inventory of spare parts and supplies are maintained.
• Operate safely and maintain shop in a clean, orderly manner.
• Contribute to our safety culture by wearing assigned Personal Protective Equipment (“PPE”).

Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• A professional with a minimum of 2+ years repair experience with mowers, small engines, 2 cycle equipment, and utility vehicles.
• Must possess a strong mechanical skill-set including knowledge of basic electrical systems, hydraulic systems, mower technology and engines, both gasoline and diesel.
• Basic automotive repair experience.
• Must have own tools.
• Must have reliable transportation to the Branch or first job site
• Safe driving record and ability to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Report (“MVR”) a plus
