Our auto repair shop has an immediate opening for a Mechanic Assistant. Under the direction of our senior mechanic, you will assist with car maintenance jobs. You must be familiar with the general workings of a car engine. Our ideal candidate has some experience with fixing and maintaining vehicles, but we are willing to train the right person.

Responsibilities:

Assist with basic maintenance tasks on customer vehicles

Keeps work area clean and safe

Moves cars in and out of the bay area

Other duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED certificate

Completion of an auto repair program (preferred, but not required)

Experience with hand and power tools

Willing to learn

Must be dependable and punctual

Valid Driver's license

Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
