Overview:

Responsibilities:

Join a team of Garage Mechanics responsible for preventative maintenance, repairs, and inspections on trailers, yard tractors, and over-the-road tractors. Maintain repair records and parts inventory, and document parts needed.

Schedule: Mon - Fri, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Qualifications:

• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Experience performing DOT inspections on trailers.
• Skill in diagnosing and repairing ThermoKing refrigeration units.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues on transport equipment.
• Experience with preventative maintenance on braking systems and wheels.
• Routine maintenance skills such as oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication.
• Ability to operate a spotting tractor to move trailers.
• Welding certification or documented work experience.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Satisfactory work experience as determined by JFI hiring managers.
• Technical training and certifications in refrigeration, electrical, and welding areas.
