Job summary

Liberty Waste Solutions is actively seeking a Diesel Technician to support our truck fleet. The role involves diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, electrical and hydraulic systems, and performing on-road service and shop repairs. A strong welding/fabrication capability is a plus, with ASL/Frontload experience also valued.

The position offers full-time, day shift work with benefits after 90 days. A high school diploma or technical certification is preferred, along with a valid driver's

Qualifications

• Basic tools required.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• 4+ years relevant work experience preferred.
• Effective communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.

DIESEL TECHNICIAN / MECHANIC

Immediately hiring Permanent a Full Time Diesel Technician to support our Truck Fleet at Liberty Waste Solutions :

• A-Tech $32-$40/hr

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, chassis, bodies, and other heavy equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and control systems.
• Repair company equipment in shop, and on-road service.
• Use electronic tools to identify malfunctions.
• Welding and fabrication skills a plus
• ASL / Frontload experience a plus

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Vocational or Technical Certification Post Secondary degree or Technical Certifications, preferred
• Basic tools, required
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
• Advanced analytical and repair skills
• Four (4) years or more Relevant work experience, preferred
• Effective communication skills
• Must have basic computer skills: PC, Windows, mouse, etc
• Must have a valid driver’s license, be reliable and punctual.
• Demonstrate ability to coach/mentor/influence others
