Job summary

Guy M Turner Inc in Greensboro, NC seeks a Diesel Mechanic / Diesel Technician to join our headquarters maintenance shop. You’ll perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on diesel trucks and heavy equipment, using diagnostic tools and repair technologies.

Ideal candidates have trade school training or hands-on experience, the ability to work independently, and a valid CDL-A are preferred. You’ll operate Mon-Fri, 7:00am–4:30pm with occasional Saturdays, and join a team focused

Qualifications

• Must have experience or completion of trade school in diesel tech.
• Ability to diagnose and repair diesel engines.
• Must pass background, MVR and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
• Work independently with safety standards.
• Operate in Greensboro shop Mon-Fri 7:00am–4:30pm, occasional Saturdays.

Diesel Mechanic / Diesel Technician

Seeking a Diesel Mechanic / Diesel Technician to join our Greensboro, NC headquarters maintenance shop. In this role, you’ll handle diesel truck repair, fleet maintenance, and heavy equipment service across multiple truck and engine manufacturers, using advanced diagnostic tools and repair technologies.

Job Description

This is a full-time position based in our headquarters maintenance shop in Greensboro, NC. The Diesel Mechanic / Diesel Technician will perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on a variety of trucks and engines. Candidates must be able to work independently, follow safety standards, and use modern repair software and tools.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Truck mechanic / truck technician with either previous experience or trade school training or we will train!
• Experience with multiple truck and engine manufacturers is a plus
• Experience with diagnostic software and repair technologies
• Ability to perform tasks independently without direct supervision
• Factory, vocational, and practical training
• Must currently have a valid driver’s license
• Must currently live within 40 minutes (one-way) of our Greensboro, NC location
• Currently holding a valid CDL-A is preferred
• This position requires a candidate to successfully pass Background, MVR and Drug screening processes.
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Hours of work are Mon-Fri, 7:00am to 4:30pm; occasional Saturday’s
