Amerit Fleet Solutions, through Vector Fleet Management, is seeking qualified Medium/Heavy Diesel Technicians in the Big Spring, TX area. This position offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $28.00 to $32.00, contingent on experience, and full benefits within 30 days of employment.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in working on heavy-duty diesel trucks and possess essential tools. The role requires ensuring compliance with maintenance standards and a commitment to safety. Opportunities for career development are also available.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform preventive and repair maintenance on diesel engines.

Position Summary

Compensation: Competitive Hourly Pay - PAID EVERY FRIDAY! $28.00-32.00/hr depending on experience!

Shift: M-F, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Qualifications & Requirements

• 2+ years’ experience working on Heavy/Medium Duty Diesel Trucks and Equipment
• Must have the ability to perform preventive and repair maintenance on diesel engines and emergency apparatus
• Technicians must own basic set of hand tools and wheeled toolbox suitable for daily use
• ASE or OEM Certifications highly desirable
• Trade School Certificates a plus
• Willingness and ability to advance technical training and certification in emergency vehicle repair
• Must have acceptable driving record and pass drug test and background check

Working Conditions

• Exposure to heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job.
• Exposure to considerable amounts of dust, diesel fumes and noise.
• Exposure to chemicals, oils, greases or other irritants
• Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance
• Ability to move and position heavy objects
• Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel and crawl to repair vehicles
• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
