Job summary

Nissha Medical Technologies is seeking a seasoned maintenance mechanic to support manufacturing equipment. You will perform scheduled and on-demand repairs, complete PM tasks, and operate a variety of machine shop tools, including CNC.

The role includes training junior mechanics and assisting facilities staff. Candidates should have 5–7 years of manufacturing maintenance experience and formal technical training.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma.
• 5-7 years mechanic experience within a manufacturing setting with advanced level skills.
• Must have completed Technical/Mechanical training courses/certificates.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment on schedule and as needed.
• Complete PM tasks (filters, inspection, oil, etc.).
• Set up and operate machine shop equipment.
• Provide training to A, B, and C level mechanics on advanced maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot complex equipment issues including printing processes.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Essential Job Functions

1. 1. Provide maintenance support to manufacturing in the troubleshooting and repair of all manufacturing equipment on a scheduled and as-needed basis.
2. 2. Complete PM tasks (filter, inspection, oil, etc.).
3. 3. Perform tight-tolerance machining tasks.
4. 4. Set up and operate all machine shop equipment (saws, drills, mills, lathes, grinders, CNC, etc.).
5. 5. Provide training to 'A', 'B', and 'C' level mechanics on the completion of higher skill level maintenance tasks.
6. 6. Operate and repair industrial trucks.
7. 7. Make recommendations for continuous improvement and error proofing initiatives.
8. 8. Utilize advanced design engineering capabilities to make recommendations for equipment upgrades.
9. 9. Perform complex level fabrication repairs and projects (aluminum, stainless steel, welding).
10. 10. Troubleshoot and diagnose complex equipment issues (registration, timing on printing and finishing processes).
11. 11. Troubleshoot and identify basic electrical equipment (breaker and fuse).
12. 12. Support and assist Facilities and Electrical maintenance staff as needed.
13. 13. Operate fork trucks/man-lifts as needed.
14. 14. Use a variety of tools to perform maintenance duties including hand and power tools.
15. 15. Read and interpret equipment manuals, OEM prints, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
16. 16. Work with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Maintenance Supervision and Management to review and detect manufacturing process issues and make suggestions for improvement.
17. 17. Communicate with machine operators as needed to perform efficient and effective troubleshooting and equipment repair.
18. 18. Comply with all industry standards and regulations (ISO, FDA, etc.).
19. 19. Support and assist 'C' and 'B' level mechanics as needed.
20. 20. Support and assist Facilities and Electrical maintenance staff as needed.
21. 21. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• GED or High School Diploma
• 5-7 years mechanic experience within a manufacturing setting with advanced level skills
• Must have completed of Technical/Mechanical training courses/certificates

• Must be able to read, comprehend, and execute production orders and operating procedures

• Ability to operate fork truck and man-lift equipment

Nissha Medical Technologies is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $27.25-$36.75/hour . The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
