Fox Rent A Car in Los Angeles is seeking an ASE Certified Mechanic to perform medium-to-light repairs and routine maintenance on our fleet. You will handle oil changes, tire rotations, safety inspections, and diagnostics to ensure every vehicle is rental-ready when it leaves the lot.

Qualifications

• ASE Certification(s) required
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as an automotive technician, ideally with fleet or vehicle rental companies
• Familiarity with vehicle diagnostics and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues

Responsibilities

• Perform medium-to-light mechanical repairs and replacements on fleet vehicles
• Conduct regular oil changes to maintain vehicle performance
• Rotate tires as part of preventative maintenance checks
• Monitor TPMS function and ensure no warning lights
• Verify that lights, brakes and electronics work correctly
• Document repairs and create Electronic Repair Orders (ERO) for vehicles
• Communicate persistent vehicle issues to Fleet Manager/Supervisor
