Currently, we have an excellent full-time employment opportunity available in our Blairsville, PA facility.

Job Responsibilities

• Disassemble and assemble transit wheel set assemblies and their components, using proper fixtures, mechanical devices and hydraulic presses.
• Dimensional inspection, documentation and assembly of transit wheel set assemblies and components.
• Test requalified or manufactured product to specifications.
• Perform magnetic particle and ultrasonic inspection (if certified).
• Clean, mask, paint or apply coatings to components.
• Prepare parts and assemblies for shipment.
• Detailed documentation and recordkeeping.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical assembly experience or training certification in a related field preferred.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments.
• Accuracy in completing reports/documentation and with reading and understanding written directions and procedures.
• Machine shop environment background preferred.
• Self-motivated and willing to work with minimal supervision.

Currently, this position is a 1st shift position (10 hour shift Monday-Thursday, 5:00 am-3:00 pm), however, the individual must be willing and able to work overtime, alternate shifts, and/or weekends, when needed.
