Empower Rental Group in Calvert City, KY is seeking a Yard Technician - Mechanic 1 to prep rental equipment, perform basic repairs, and maintain a clean and safe yard.

You will assist customers, load/unload fleet orders, and support mechanics with service calls, PMs, and upkeep of the fleet while upholding company values.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a yard or mechanic role.
• Valid Driver’s License required; driving company vehicles may be required.
• Excellent customer service skills for internal and external customers.
• Must have own basic tools and be prepared to assist with maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean Equipment and prepare for delivery or return.
• Assist customers with loading and unloading fleet orders.
• Make notes on rental tags and update equipment status.
• Assist other mechanics with repairs and tasks as needed.
• Keep yard and shop area clean and safe at all times.
• Perform basic diagnostics and preventative maintenance as needed.

Our Mechanics repair and clean equipment upon return from customer sites and complete service calls on units currently located at customer sites as assigned.
