Job summary

ISCO Industries, Inc. in West Jordan, UT is seeking a skilled Mechanic to keep fusion equipment running smoothly. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues, perform repairs, and do preventive maintenance in our distribution plant. Tools and PPE are provided. Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a mechanic.
• Automotive experience is a plus.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical or hydraulic systems.
• Experience with preventive maintenance procedures.
• Physical demands: occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.

Pay Range: $25- $30/hour(Dependent on Experience)

Mechanics are responsible for repairing fusion equipment in a distribution plant. Team members are provided all tools/equipment and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues.
• Inspect, repair or replace parts as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Remove and replace failed parts.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed.
• Clearly able to communicate needed maintenance and repairs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a mechanic
• Automotive experience is a plus
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical or hydraulic systems a plus.
• Experience with preventive maintenance
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Basic computer proficiency
• Team player with ability to work independently
• Experience with preventive maintenance procedures and practices.
• Physical demands: occasional lifting, standing, climbing is frequently required. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
