Job summary

ISCO is seeking a hands-on mechanic to repair and refurbish fusion equipment in a distribution plant. You will diagnose, maintain and repair diesel/gas engines, generators, electrical circuits, and hydraulic systems while keeping detailed repair records.

Responsibilities include quality inspections, preparing repair quotes, coordinating with maintenance and service teams, and ensuring equipment is ready for shipping. Prior experience with computers for order entry and parts ordering is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in maintenance or automotive repair preferred.
• Diagnostic ability and Troubleshooting skills.
• Commitment to quality.
• Ability to meet deadlines, work flexible hours, and work in a team environment.
• Interpret technical instructions and use independent judgment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Automotive experience is a plus.
• Physical demands: lift up to 50lbs, standing, climbing.

• Report machine defects, damages and malfunctions.
• Repair and service fabrication shop equipment as needed.
• Prepare equipment for shipping.
• Basic computer use for order entry, parts ordering and email is a plus.
• Locate required parts via local vendors or vendor sites.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Maintain records of service, repairs and scheduled maintenance of rental fusion equipment
• Inspect and diagnose customer owned equipment to prepare repair quotes
• Communicate with maintenance coordinator and service advisors on status of down equipment and customer repairs
• Report machine defects, damages and malfunctions
• Repair and Service fabrication shop equipment as needed
• Prepare equipment for shipping
• Previous experience with computers for order entry, parts ordering and email is a plus
• Ability to utilize local vendors and/or vendor websites to locate required parts as needed
• Perform other related duties as assigned
