Job summary

ISCO Industries in Midland, Texas is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to repair and refurbish fusion equipment in our distribution plant. You will diagnose, maintain, and repair diesel/gas engines, generators, electrical circuits and hydraulic systems, and perform quality inspections of rental fusion equipment.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of maintenance or automotive repair experience, strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to work independently or in a team, and basic computer

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain and repair fusion equipment including engines, generators and hydraulic systems.
• Perform quality inspections of rental fusion equipment before service.
• Maintain records of service and maintenance.
• Inspect customer equipment to prepare repair quotes.
• Communicate status with maintenance coordinators and service advisors.
• Repair and service fabrication shop equipment as needed.
• Prepare equipment for shipping.

Pay Range: $25 - $32/hour (Dependent on Experience)

Responsibilities:

Our Mechanics are responsible for repairing and refurbishing fusion equipment in a distribution plant by performing the following duties:

• Diagnose, maintain and repair fusion equipment including; small diesel/gas engines, generators, electrical circuits and hydraulic systems
• Perform quality inspections of rental fusion equipment prior to returning to service
• Maintain records of service, repairs and scheduled maintenance of rental fusion equipment
• Inspect and diagnose customer owned equipment to prepare repair quotes
• Communicate with maintenance coordinator and service advisors on status of down equipment and customer repairs
• Report machine defects, damages and malfunctions
• Repair and Service fabrication shop equipment as needed
• Prepare equipment for shipping
• Previous experience with computers for order entry, parts ordering and email is a plus
• Ability to utilize local vendors and/or vendor websites to locate required parts as needed
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Base Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in maintenance or automotive repair preferred
• Diagnostic ability and Troubleshooting skills
• Commitment to quality
• Ability to meet deadlines, work flexible hours, and work in a team environment
• Interpret technical instructions
• Capability touse independent judgment and work both independently and, in a team setting.
• Basic computer skills
• Automotive experience is a plus
• Physical demands: must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis, standing, climbing is frequently required.
