SpeedyConcreteCutting, Inc. in Tampa, FL is seeking a Mechanic to maintain and repair specialized concrete cutting equipment.

The role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, and servicing hydraulic, diesel, gas, electrical systems, and small engines used in field operations. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of mechanic experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a mechanic maintaining specialized concrete cutting equipment.
• Concrete cutting experience preferred; construction mechanical skills valued.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to follow directions.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record and ability to travel locally.
• Background check and drugscreening required.
• Safety, precision, and teamwork focus.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple repair priorities.
• Willingness to work outdoors and in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair concrete cutting, coring, sawing, and drilling equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on hydraulic, diesel, gas, and electrical powered equipment/vehicles.
• Maintain service records and parts inventory.
• Report issues to Branch/Operations Manager and Safety Director.
• Lift/move objects up to 50 lbs.
• Safely inspect and use PPE as required by OSHA/ANSI.
