Job summary

Speedy Concrete Cutting, Inc. is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Concrete Sawing & Drilling Helper/Trainees. This entry-level role offers hands-on training and mentorship, supporting experienced Operators on commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.

You will learn to assist with concrete cutting, core drilling, wall and wire saw operations, and GPR scanning while progressing toward an Operator role. Safety, reliability, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Construction, concrete, or general labor experience preferred but not required.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn a skilled trade.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record and ability to travel locally.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Strong focus on safety, precision, and teamwork.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Comfortable working outdoor, indoors, or confined environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with concrete sawing, core drilling, demolition, and removal activities on active job sites
• Support layout, measuring, and precision cutting operations
• Assist with demolition and structural modification projects
• Work safely in commercial, industrial, medical, and roadway environments
• Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, Silica Safety standards, and OSHA regulations
• Perform daily equipment inspections, cleaning, and basic maintenance
• Learn the safe operation of specialized equipment including: Flat saws (slab saws), Wall saws, Core drills, Hand saws and ring saws, Wire saws, Mini excavators, Skid steers, Robotic demolition equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting equipment and materials
