Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a mechanic maintaining equipment
• Experience with concrete cutting or related machinery is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are required

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses, troubleshooting, and repair of concrete cutting, coring, sawing, and drilling equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance on hydraulic, diesel, gas, and electrical powered equipment/vehicles
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, repairs log, and parts inventory
• Report issues to Branch/Operations Manager and Safety Director
• Adhere to safety protocols and OSHA/ANSI standards

PositionOverview

The Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, repairing, and servicing the specialized equipment and vehicles that support SpeedyConcreteCutting,Inc’s field operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting the safe and efficient execution of projects. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting hydraulic, electrical, gas, diesel, and small engine systems used in concrete cutting and drilling equipment.
