Job summary

Vortex Companies, LLC is seeking a skilled mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles and equipment in Salisbury, NC. You will diagnose, service, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, brake repairs, and clear communication of repair needs to service advisors.

Qualifications

• Must have your own basic tools.
• Valid driver's license required and must pass pre-employment checks (drug test, background, D.O.T. physical).

• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
• Stay current on new technology and repair techniques through training.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Mechanic will perform maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide variety of vehicles and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
• Conduct routine services such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, and brake repairs
• Use diagnostic equipment and service manuals to identify and resolve issues.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

• Must have your own basic tools. Company will provide any specialty tools.
• Valid driver's license required and must be able to pass pre-employment drug test, background check, D.O.T. physical and driver’s license check for past 36 months without any suspensions or major traffic violations (D.O.T. requirements).

Salary Range

• $25.00 - 35.00, depending on position qualifications, job related skills and experience, education, certifications, and geographic location.
