Job summary

Responsibilities

• Maintain the fleet of Ride Care vehicles, developing and maintaining detailed maintenance logs for every vehicle.
• Assist with retrieval of fleet vehicles when undriveable and restore to operations quickly.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and brake repairs.
• Inspect and identify safety and repair issues.
• Conduct diagnostic tests to identify vehicle issues and perform auto-body repairs when necessary.
• Replace engine components (including head gaskets, shocks, struts, front end components).
• Remove and install transmissions, transfer cases and engines.
• Rebuild differentials and transfer cases.
• Perform A/C compressor repairs and recharging.
• Tune up, replace spark plugs and sensors; keep workshop organized and clean.

Job Details: Job Location: Bison - Moore, OK 73106, The highly skilled Mechanic will inspect, maintain, and repair vehicles to ensure their optimal performance and safety.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain the fleet of Ride Care vehicles, developing and ongoing and detailed maintenance log for every vehicle in the fleet.
• Assist with retrieval of fleet vehicles when deemed undriveable, working to restore the vehicle to operations quickly.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and brake repairs.
• Inspect and identify safety and repair issues.
• Conduct diagnostic tests to identify vehicle issues and auto-body repairs when necessary.
• Diagnose leaks effectively.
• Replace engine components (including head gaskets, shocks, struts, front end components).
• Remove and install transmissions, transfer cases and engines.
• Rebuild differentials and transfer cases.
• Perform A/C compressor and component repairs and recharging.
• Perform brake lining replacement.
• Tune up, replace spark plugs, wires, clean throttle body and clean air flow sensors.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workshop.
• Other duties as assigned by the manager or other leadership.

Qualifications: Requirements

• Expertise in conducting brake repairs, maintaining vehicles, and performing auto-body repairs.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to travel within and outside the state as needed (10%).
