Job Requirements

• Servicing off road heavy diesel equipment such as front-end loaders, dozers, cable and hydraulic cranes and off-highway trucks.
• Will perform welding activities including screening plant repairs, bucket rebuilds for cutting edges and shanks and also general repair and fabrication in a heavy equipment shop.
• The focus of this position is on meeting and exceeding high standards of accuracy and quality based on established systems, technologies and guidelines.
• Strength in technical problem solving based on expertise and experience, and a strong commitment to efficiently achieve high quality results is required.
• A thoughtful, persevering, self-disciplined approach to achieving accurate, detailed work is essential.
• This job allows for autonomy and independence and is primarily self-reliant.
• Knowledge of screening/sizing separator plant maintenance is a plus as well as welding cutting and light fabrication.
• Trouble shooting in the area of hydraulics and electrical repair as it applies to heavy off-road equipment and vehicle systems.
• Experience working in a steel mill, aggregate, or heavy construction is preferred.
• Must demonstrate a strong commitment to working safely.
• Must be able to demonstrate a history of reliable attendance.
• Must be willing to work night and weekend shifts as needed.
• Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
