UDP TN HAULING LLC is seeking a dependable Mechanic to maintain, inspect, diagnose, and repair company vehicles and equipment to keep the fleet safe, reliable, and operational. Qualifications

• Previous experience as a mechanic or in vehicle/equipment maintenance preferred.
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
• CDL or relevant mechanic certifications are a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple repair and maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and routine service on company vehicles and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and other vehicle-related issues.
• Inspect vehicles and equipment to identify potential safety or maintenance concerns.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, brakes, suspension, steering, exhaust, and other vehicle systems.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, parts, and maintenance performed.
• Respond to vehicle or equipment breakdowns and assist with troubleshooting as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Properly use and maintain shop tools, diagnostic equipment, and other equipment.
• Communicate repair needs, parts requirements, and equipment concerns to management.
• Follow company safety procedures and applicable vehicle and equipment regulations.
• Assist with maintaining the overall readiness and reliability of the company fleet.
