Ozark Outdoors in Missouri is seeking a skilled Mechanic to maintain our vehicles, equipment, and facilities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable guest experience.

You will perform routine maintenance, diesel and gas repairs, welding, light trailer work, and heavy equipment service, while keeping detailed maintenance records and complying with safety policies.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a mechanic with expertise in diesel and gas engine repairs.
• Proficiency in welding and fabrication techniques.
• Experience with light trailer repairs and heavy equipment maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Physical ability to perform repairs, including lifting, bending, and working in outdoor conditions.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance: check fluids, tires, and inspections on resort vehicles and equipment.
• Diesel and gas engine repairs: diagnose and repair engine issues for reliability.
• Welding and fabrication: handle basic welding and fabrication tasks as needed.
• Light trailer repairs: perform minor repairs to ensure safety and operation.
• Heavy equipment repairs: diagnose and repair equipment used throughout the resort.
• Driving duties: operate resort vehicles to support maintenance and operations.
• Safety compliance: adhere to safety standards and resort policies.
• Record-keeping: maintain accurate maintenance logs and repair notes.

About this opportunity:

• Compensation: Starting at $16.00-$18.00 hour, depending on experience

What We Are Looking For in a Mechanic:

What You Will Do as a Mechanic:

• Diesel and Gas Engine Repairs: Utilize your knowledge of both diesel and gas engines to diagnose and repair mechanical issues efficiently.
• Welding and Fabrication: Handle basic welding and fabrication tasks as needed to maintain and modify equipment.
• Light Trailer Repairs: Perform minor repairs on trailers to ensure they are safe and operational.
• Heavy Equipment Repairs: Diagnose and repair heavy equipment used throughout the resort.
• Driving Duties: Operate resort vehicles as needed to support maintenance and operational tasks.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety standards, resort policies, and best practices in all maintenance activities.
• Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
