Job summary

Job Description

The job of Mechanic is for the purpose/s of determining and completing needed repairs and replacements on all district vehicles; performing preventative maintenance; documenting activities in compliance with mandated requirements; and serving as a bus driver whose responsiblitys include transporting students over scheduled routes and ensuring safety of students during transport, loading and unloading from buses.

This job reports to the Transportation Director.

Valid Driver's License/Evidence of Insurability; CPR/First Aid Certificate; Defensive Driving; CDL with P,S & Air Brake endorsements.
