Ruppert Landscape in Durham, NC is seeking a Mechanic to join our in‑house fleet team. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of fleet vehicles and equipment, ensuring safety, reliability, and a professional image.

Hours are roughly 40–45 per week, Monday through Friday, with opportunities to grow, train, and advance in a people‑first culture. Shop environment emphasizes safety, teamwork, and quality service.

Where You Fit In

As a Mechanic on our in‑house fleet team, you will play a critical role in maintaining and servicing a wide range of vehicles and equipment, including diesel/gas trucks, commercial mowers, and two‑cycle equipment. This role is essential in upholding our company's image and keeping our operations teams working safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform repairs and preventative maintenance on a variety of fleet vehicles and equipment, including power equipment, mowers, trucks, trailers, and other landscape tools
• Recondition vehicles and equipment per company schedule to ensure they meet company image standards and are safe, reliable, and ready for use
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
• Accurately document and maintain service and repair records
• Provide exceptional internal customer service, prioritizing efficiency, quality, and communication
• Assist with other operational tasks as assigned

Schedule: Monday-Friday, averaging approximately 40-45 hours per week, based on business needs.
