Job summary

Smart & Final in Michigan seeks an experienced automotive/mechanical technician to perform full maintenance and repair work on a fleet of buses powered by gasoline and diesel engines. You will inspect, diagnose, repair, and service vehicles and related shop equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation.

Requires high school diploma or equivalent, plus hands-on repair experience or completion of a four-year automotive apprenticeship; physical fitness; and the ability to obtain a valid CDL with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferably with courses in general shop and automotive repair.
• Reasonable experience in repairing and rebuilding a variety of gasoline and/or diesel fuel powered vehicles or completion of an approved four-year apprenticeship in automotive repair or its equivalent.
• Physical strength and agility.
• Physically and mentally capable of performing all the duties of the classification.

Responsibilities
