Responsibilities

1. Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing all XTRA Lease equipment as indicated on repair orders and consistent with XTRA Lease repair standards.
2. Performing safety and legally required inspections (FHWA/BIT).
3. Maintaining parts and yard organization (with direction from operations management) to ensure a clean and safe working environment.

Job Requirements

1. High School Diploma or GED (Preferred).
2. Minimum of 1 year of experience working specifically on trailers.
3. Minimum of 1 year of experience working on brakes.
4. Qualified to complete FHWA inspections.
5. Valid and current driver's license.

Successful candidates will have knowledge of air, electronic, braking, and suspension systems, as well as general mechanical operation and body repair. We offer a Monday - Friday schedule with little to no nights or weekends.
