Emerson is seeking an engineering co-op in Marshalltown, IA. You will support the Product Engineering team, help evaluate new designs, and assist with valve development for critical services.

The role requires full-time, in-person availability and offers hands-on experience in design and problem solving. You will work on engineering analyses, assist with technical quotations, and help streamline digital tools for design validation.

Qualificações

• Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Engineering or closely related field.
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours) per week in-person at location (Marshalltown, IA).
• Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• GPA of 3.0 or above (preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Assist Product Engineering team with technical support for existing product line.
• Assist with evaluation of new product designs, modifications to existing product, and design of valve constructions for critical service applications.
• Troubleshoot valve performance or manufacturing issues while completing engineering analyses to provide root-cause solutions.
• Provide engineering support to Global Sales Offices by assisting with technical quotation details for new valve offerings.
• Assist with daily execution of product orders involving design modifications, application reviews, and customer interaction.
• Develop and streamline digital tools used for design and validation of new and existing products.
