ShopRite of 20th Ave in College Point, NY is hiring a Meat Wrapper Clerk. The role focuses on wrapping, packaging, scaling, and price marking in the Meat Department while maintaining a clean, organized area and delivering friendly customer service.

You will work in refrigerated environments, handle heavy loads, and ensure accurate pricing and product rotation. The position requires physical stamina, adherence to safety standards, and teamwork to support store operations.

Qualifications

• Read, write, speak, analyze, and understand English.
• Basic math skills for handling prices.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs and occasionally 80-90 lbs.
• Knowledge of safe food handling and safe work habits.
• Ability to stand/walk for long shifts.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures.
• Ability to work with fresh, dried and/or processed products, spices.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly, helpful way.
• Ability to cooperate with others and adhere to schedules.
• Follow company policies and safety rules.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
