Rowe’s IGA Supermarkets in Orange Park, FL is seeking a MEAT WRAPPER ASSOCIATE to join our team. This role ensures quality, freshness, safety and profitability of our fresh cut meat products while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will follow the merchandising plan, assist with preparation, wrap, weigh, price products, maintain displays, and uphold sanitation standards. Weekend/evening shifts and a positive, customer-minded attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to deliver friendly and prompt customer service.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and problem solve.
• Ability to work well with others and as a team.
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Prior experience in meat department preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service including greeting customers and answering questions with a positive attitude.
• Wraps, weighs, and prices meat cuts and poultry securely in boxes and containers.
• Store items in refrigerators or freezers until they are ready to be sold.
• Fills, rotates, and maintains meat products and displays.
• Maintains high sanitization and presentation standards.
• Assists in other duties as assigned.
• Follow established departmental and store policies and procedures.
