Rowe's IGA Supermarkets in Jacksonville, FL is looking for a MEAT CUTTER to join our team. You will ensure quality, freshness, safety, and profitability of our fresh cut meat products while following the merchandising plan and maintaining high standards for customer service.

This skilled craftsman role requires preparing beef, pork, and poultry cuts, operating cutting equipment safely, and delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to deliver friendly and prompt customer service.
• Ability to read, write, and do simple math.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and problem solve.
• Ability to work well with others and work well as a team.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Prior experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service including greeting customers and answering questions with a positive attitude.
• Cuts and prepares all varieties and cuts of meat while safely operating cutting equipment.
• Moves and return meat to and from coolers/cutting area
• Maintains high sanitization and presentation standards.
• Assists in other duties as assigned.
• Follow established departmental and store policies and procedures
• Assists as needed to ensure the success of the store.
