Job summary

ShopRite of Branchburg is seeking a Meat Wrapper Clerk to wrap, package, scale, and price mark merchandise in the Meat Department. The role requires maintaining a neat, clean, and visually appealing department while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

You will assist customers, stock displays, and work with the team to support daily operations. Responsibilities include handling refrigerated products, checking equipment, and following company policies.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write, speak English and understand basic instructions.
• Able to perform basic math operations.
• Able to stand, lift up to 35 lbs regularly and up to 80-90 lbs occasionally.
• Must work in varying temperatures and handle food safely.

Responsibilities

• Wrap, package, weigh, and price mark merchandise in Meat Department.
• Maintain clean, neat, and visually appealing department.
• Stock merchandise and display cases; rotate products as needed.
• Follow sanitation, safety, and QA standards and report equipment issues.
• Assist customers and work cooperatively with team members.
