Job summary

As a team contributor, you will promote a safe, clean shopping environment, greet customers, and assist them in locating items while maintaining meat department standards and product freshness.

Qualifications

• Experience: 0 to 6 months.
• Education: No High School diploma required.
• Certification: Food Safety required.
• Lifting: Up to 50 pounds.
• Age: At least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining meat cooler and freezer efficiency by unloading deliveries.
• Rotate and check code dates on products to ensure customer safety.
• Maintain safety as the top priority in all aspects of your work, for team members, guests and products.
• Provide exemplary customer service by greeting customers and helping them locate products.
• Answer questions and make suggestions to our customers.
• Provide guest service to delight guests, vendors and stakeholders.
• Inspire teammates and guests with a passion for food and going the extra mile.
• Handle products and equipment per food safety guidelines to ensure a safe shopping environment.
• Replenish products in meat cases, rotate products, and follow dating procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of department and back room, and assist in other areas as required.
