MEAT/WRAPPER (Finance)

Minimum requirements:

• Willingness and availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to read shelf tags, signs, and product labels.
• Qualified to operate power tools and equipment such as wrappers, slicers, grinders, power saws, and jacks.
• Ability to work safely with chemical cleaning solutions.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and assist team members.
• Calmly handle stressful situations and make positive impressions on customers and colleagues.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in meat work or food preparation.
• A dependable and honest work history.
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to employment, OSHA, and food safety.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Preparing and displaying merchandise neatly and efficiently.
• Checking product quality, freshness, and proper rotation.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization in sales areas, backrooms, and coolers.
• Ensuring carts, tools, and supplies are properly stored and floors are clean and safe.
• Managing inventory levels and freshness in display cases, unloading trucks, and preparing merchandise for sale.
• Providing excellent customer and team member relations.
• Sanitizing equipment per policies and health regulations.
• Maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor and effective communication with customers and staff.
• Promptly and cheerfully serving customers, greeting them, and assisting with product location.
• Adhering to all applicable laws, policies, and procedures regarding dress code, grooming, sanitation, and harassment-free work environment.
• Maintaining equipment and facilities safely and properly.
• Performing any other duties as assigned.
