Minimum Qualifications
  • Willing and available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Able to read shelf tags, signs, and product labels.
  • Qualified and able to operate power and various job tools (automatic wrapper, slicer, grinder, power saw, jack, etc.).
  • Must work safely with various chemically based cleaning solutions.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and willingness to help all members of the department.
  • Able to tactfully and calmly handle stressful situations and make a positive impression on associates and customers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Meat work experience or similar experience in food preparation.
  • Dependability and integrity reflected in past work records.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to employment practices, OSHA compliance, food handling, etc.
  • Ability to prepare and display merchandise neatly and efficiently.
  • Experience in checking product quality, ensuring freshness, safety, and proper rotation.
  • Ability to keep sales areas, backrooms, coolers, and equipment clean and organized.
  • Excellent customer and associate relations skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Willingness to follow all company policies, including dress code, grooming, food safety, sanitation, and harassment policies.
  • Ability to maintain equipment and facilities properly and safely.
  • Flexibility to perform any duties as assigned.
