Job summary

Dierbergs Markets is seeking Meat Associates to join our team. You will stock, wrap, weigh, and label meat products, assist customers, and ensure cases stay well-stocked and presentable. You’ll work with a variety of meat processing equipment in a temperature-controlled environment.

Role requires basic math and reading skills, safety awareness, and the ability to follow recipes and specifications. Weekend availability and strong attendance are important for success.

Qualifications

• Read and follow safety and food-handling guidelines.
• Basic computer and math skills (involves conversions and percentages).
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• Prompt and regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Stock and rotate meat; keep cases showroom-worthy.
• Assist customers with product knowledge and order accuracy.
• Weigh, wrap, and label merchandise accurately.
• Use and clean equipment (grinders, cubers, patty machines, slicers) per safety rules.
• Maintain sanitary work area with approved cleaners and procedures.
