Meijer is seeking a Meat Team Leader to oversee all day-to-day operations of the Meat and Seafood departments and to lead the Meat team to deliver high-quality service and products. You will manage staffing, scheduling, pricing, and adherence to company standards to meet business goals.

The role emphasizes team development, scheduling accuracy, and strict adherence to safety and sanitation procedures while driving financial performance in the Meat and Seafood sections.

Responsibilities

• Provides courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and team members.
• Responsible for achieving financial performance goals in Meat and Seafood departments.
• Conducts interviews to ensure proper staffing levels.
• Trains Meat team members to build a high-performance team and minimize turnover.
• Writes and manages Meat schedules to achieve service levels and control expenses.
• Ensures Real Time Apply is completed accurately and on time.
• Maintains signing execution and pricing accuracy.
• Accounts for sanitation and safety procedures.
• Controls inventory shrinkage through BOH accuracy and rotation guidelines.
• Completes MITS tasks promptly.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.
