Big Y Foods, Inc. East Windsor location is seeking a Meat/Seafood Butcher to provide an exceptional customer experience by preparing precise, high-quality cuts and maintaining department conditions, including proper ordering, inventory, production, and food safety standards.

The role requires knowledge of meats/seafood and strong customer service. The candidate should have completed the Meat/Seafood Butcher and Culinary Training Program or passed a meat skills test, be 18+, and ready to adapt

Qualifications

• Must have completed Meat/Seafood Butcher and Culinary Training Program and/or passed a meat skills test.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be proficient in ordering for the entire sales areas of both the meat and seafood departments.
• Must project a clean and professional appearance.
• Ability to operate within company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Willingness to cross train and learn other areas as needed.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule in accordance with the needs of the store.
• Ability to represent and support Big Y’s culture of caring while living our Mission & Vision.
