This is a hands-on role requiring standing for long periods and lifting up to 90 lbs, with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent and basic math knowledge.
• Reliable, friendly, and able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 90 lbs.
• General safety and food handling awareness.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service and practice safe food handling procedures.
• Receive, store, and grind meats; unload and transport meats from delivery trucks.
• Count and weigh incoming articles; compare results against invoices.
• Rotate meats to avoid aging; assist customers with questions and special orders.
• Follow the department's Clean as You Go and Fresh at 4 programs.
