Sprouts Farmers Market is hiring a Meat Clerk to join our Meat Department. You will greet customers, answer questions, and help with product locations while maintaining peak quality and safety standards in a fast-paced setting.

The role involves receiving, storing, and preparing meats, using standard equipment, and keeping the department clean and organized. A reliable team player with good communication is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Dependable and reliable with ability to perform other duties as assigned.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• General housekeeping; maintain clean and sanitized work area.
• Ability to stand for up to 4 hours at a time and 8 hours per shift.
• Capable of lifting/carrying 25–90 lbs., etc.
• Able to use sharp knives and meat processing equipment.
• Able to move and handle pallets and equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service in the Meat Department.
• Receive, store, and grind meats; unload deliveries and rotate stock.
• Assist customers with questions, orders, and product locations.
• Follow all Meat Department procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary work areas.
